Most company values are wallpaper. We built ours as rules of the road after a stretch when results were inconsistent.
We started with a leadership constitution: expected behavior for anyone who manages people, and permission to say so when a leader misses. Then a company constitution for everyone else. The operating idea is radical transparency, with clients and with the team. That is the NetTech way on paper. This page is that paper, cleaned up for the site.
If you want how we hire against this, Ryan wrote how we use talent optimization.
Purpose
Improve our clients’ businesses through the effective use of technology, while building a strong place to work and a service standard clients can feel.
The pledge (short)
You act, you ask, you decide. You do not wait to be told. If you need to know, you find out. You learn the processes. If others need to know what you are doing, you tell them.
That is not a poster. On a Tuesday it means a ticket does not sit because “I was waiting for someone to assign it,” and a missed date does not show up as a surprise on Friday.
Four values
Be proactive. Do not wait for someone else to solve it. Own the work. Bias to action: done well today beats perfect tomorrow. Anticipate what the client and the teammate will need.
Adopt a service mindset. The client’s problem is your problem. Extra mile. Represent the company like it is yours.
Communicate with clarity. You carry the burden of being understood. Realistic dates. If a commitment will slip, you say so immediately. Follow up until it landed.
Help others. Attack problems and processes, not people. Teach what you know. Ask for help when you are stuck.
What you can expect from a NetTech manager
Direct conversation, including the uncomfortable ones. Transparent reasons. Hard but possible goals. Persistence. An environment that is supposed to make you better at the work and better as a person.
This is the internal constitution we use with staff and leaders. We are putting it on the site so a client can see how decisions are supposed to get made, including when we miss.

FAQ
Are these marketing values or internal ones?
Internal. This is the constitution we use with staff and leaders. We published it so clients can see how decisions are supposed to get made.
How does this change a support ticket?
Proactive plus communicate-with-clarity is the service-desk version: we do not sit on a silent ticket, and we tell you if a date moved.
Where is the rest of the constitution?
The longer definitions live in our internal doc. This page is the public version. About can carry the same blocks if we paste them into Beaver Builder later.
